Garage Door Remotes
As standard, your Nationwide Garage Door will be supplied with two remote controls. These remote controls offer the ability to control your door from up to 50 metres away. The remote controls have several special features to enable you to get the most out of your garage door.
Rolling Code Technology
Each remote control is programmed or paired with your control unit within the garage. When you operate your remote control a coded signal is sent to your control unit. On every operation this code is changed. This prevents any other devices, operating on similar frequencies, from interfering with your garage door. It also offers maximum security, ensuring no one else can replicate your code.
Protective button Casing
You remote control will be provided with a protective casing that slides over the operational buttons. This allows you to keep your remote control on keys, in your pockets or handbag without the risk of accidental operation. This cover is optional and be easily removed if unneeded
Multi Functional buttons
Your remote control is extremely simple to use. You have an up button a down button and a stop button. A fourth button allows you to control other functions of your garage door such as holiday mode, as well as offering the ability to programme additional remotes to the system.
Keypad & Keyswitch Options
For additional style and convenience a wireless keyswitch or kepad can also be installed. This allows you to operate your garage by turning a key or entering a unique combination code. Great if you have many people requiring access. Being wireless these can mount in the most convenient location. Offering both the same rolling code security as a remote control as well as additional tamper protection.
