Here is a recent installation of a Veranda in Dorset. This is a Polycarbonate Veranda and has an anthracite frame.

As well as just the Veranda roof, there is a also a fully retractable electric zip screen mounted to the side. Zip screens provide protection from the sun as well as wind and at the same time offers excellent privacy.

The Zip Screen is operated via a remote control though also comes with a sensor that can automatically lower or raise the screen depending on your requirements. There is also a patio heater that will maintain a comfortable temperature no matter how chilly it get.

Zip Screens are a great addition to any Veranda as they still allow light to pass yet stop wind and excess heat. They can also commonly installed on windows to keep rooms cool and furnishings protected. Being external, the screens are far more effective at heat reduction than internal blinds.

The triangular shape that the lean-to roof creates is filled in with and aluminium frame holding matching polycarbonate. It is always totally optional as to whether you want the triangular gable installed though it makes sense when blocking off one end.

Nationwide install Verandas across the whole of UK mainland so if you are interested in a free, no obligation quotation then please feel free to get in touch.

Here is a nice simple Patio Veranda that has recently been installed in the Buckinghamshire area. This Patio Veranda is made to fit exactly with the wall space available.

For this installation we needed to make a cut out for the pipe that is diverting the boiler flue. We also inset the post on the right hand side to miss the drain.

This Patio Veranda uses a polycarbonate roof. Polycarbonate comes in a variety of choices including clear, tinted or opal. In this instance the customer opted for a clear polycarbonate.

Clearly this Patio Veranda will make the ideal garden shelter to get outside and enjoy outdoor living no matter what the weather throws. Whilst this photo does not clearly show it, this customer also has an outdoor electric heater that will keep them warm long into the summers evenings!

This is an installation of a lovely Garden Veranda that was installed in Herefordshire.

Our Garden Verandas are custom made to suit your requirements and can be made to any size. This Garden Veranda was manufactured to a width of 6.45m and has a projection of 2m.

This Garden Veranda was given a more traditional feel by the use of the quarter arches that are at the top of the columns.

Whether you choose to opt for a traditional Garden Veranda or a more contemporary style you can have the frame powder coated in a colour to suit. The clear intention here was to blend the structure with the windows and doors to make it really fit in with the property.

As well as being aesthetically pleasing, this Veranda installation will make a perfect Garden Shelter for the customer to enjoy all year round.

This customer also opted for a Patio Heater which will provide efficient and cost effective warmth long into the summer evenings to really make the most out of outdoor living.

If you would like a free no obligation quotation for a Garden Veranda of your own then get in touch either by using the forms on the website or by calling 0800 019 7080.

Here is a lovely installation of a Traditional Garden Veranda that we installed to a property in Essex. This is a good example of how our Verandas can be customised to fit any property.

This Garden Veranda is made from a robust aluminium frame and uses glass for the roof. It spans across two separate walls of the property. One wall sits back quite significantly from the other. The overall width of the Garden Veranda was made to a very precise 6089mm and the projection was 2.18m and 3.3m at the deepest point.

This customer opted for our Victorian style posts at the front as well as customising further with one additional post at the side. Rather than this Veranda just having a lean two roof, it has a glazed gable end on one end. This adds tot he strength as well and creating a more enclosed feel. The opposite end is attached to the wall of the property.

It is quite common, when installing Garden Verandas in this way, to come up against the problem of drainpipes coming down the wall. When this does occur we arrange for a cut out in the structure which is then flashed with lead.

If you would like us to come out an carry out a free, no obligation design consultation for a Garden Veranda for your property then why not get in touch either by phone or using one of the contact forms on the website.

Here is one of our Contemporary Glass Verandas that was installed in the Worcester area in January 2011. This large Patio Roof covers an area of 6.4m x 4m. It has 10.4mm safety laminated glass and the frame is coated in textured anthracite which really gives it a modern feel.

This style of Patio Roof has the gutter built into one or more of the columns. This can then be routed to the garden, to exiting drainage or can store in a water butt or similar.

This customer also opted for two outdoor heaters as well as light bar. This will allow them to sit outdoors long into the summer nights without feeling cold.

Whilst the above image is not the best, it gives a view from the underside of the Veranda which, with the glass, really does look superb.

Here is an installation of a more complicated Victorian Patio Shelter or Veranda that was installed in Essex in December 2010. This shelter utilised our Victorian style posts and quarter arches that really give it that traditional feel. As you can see from these photos, this Veranda really fits with the property and as well as it being a really practical patio shelter, it looks aesthetically pleasing as well.

Rather than using a third column on the left hand side, the Veranda is attached to the return wall. This allows for a tight seal against the wall as well as preventing unnecessary space being taken up on the patio area.

From the photo you can also ssee there are several pipes on the wall. As each installation is custom made, we manufacture the Verandas to fit around these pipes.

What makes this Patio Veranda installation slightly different is that rather than the roof being a standard lean to – the customer has oped to have a hip design on one side.

This Veranda is made to a width of 5m with a projection of 2.75m. This customer also took advantage of our electric Patio Heaters which will allow this patio shelter area to be used even when the temperature drops!

One of the great ways to get outdoors without the worry of the great British weather ruining your day is to utilise one of these Garden Shelters – otherwise known as a Veranda.

Garden shelters can be made using glass or polycarbonate for the roof and a high quality aluminium for the frame. This guarantees strength and durability. As well as this aluminium does not rust and there for stays looking pristine for many years.

Garden shelters can instantly extend your home with a minimum of hassle and disruption. Whilst the Garden shelter is designed to be a permanent structure, it is straight forward to remove should you decide to sell your property and for some reason the Veranda not be required.

The roof of the Garden shelter in this example is made from polycarbonate. Polycarbonate comes in three main styles. Clear, opal and bronze. The bronze polycarbonate is tinted slightly and this was the choice of this customer.

It is hard to see clearly from the photo but just above the patio door you can just make out our outdoor heater. This is operated using a remote control so is simple to turn on and off. The heaters are very efficient in keeping your warm outdoors as they do not heat the air and subsequently, the heat does not get blown away if there is any wind. The heaters are also very efficient in cost, usually costing well under 20p per hour to run.

If you are interested in owning a custom made Garden shelter then why not contact us today for a free brochure or free no obligation design consultation.

Here is an installation that was carried out in November 2011 in the county of Derbyshire.

When choosing your Veranda you do not always need to consider it as just a structure that attaches to your wall. In the example above you can see that this customer opted to have more of a freestanding structure. It could have been totally independent from the building if required but clearly the purpose here is to provide an area of shelter leading from the door.

This customer has opted for their Veranda to be designed using our Victorian posts which look a lot like a Victorian lamp post. In addition to this they have used quarter arches which really gives the Veranda a traditional feel to it.

This freestanding Veranda consists of two 5m x 1.5m Verandas mounted back to back. Special fixings were manufactured to accommodate this custom built Veranda.

If you would like a free, no obligation quotation for us to supply you with a custom made Veranda, or a free copy of our brochure then please do not hesitate to contact us either by phone, or using the forms on our website.
