We can install Patio Awnings to all sorts of homes. It is common for us to use brackets. These are generally S shaped brackets that bring the Patio Awning out and up – often clearing soffits or tile hung walls. The other popular type is pipe brackets that simply bring the Patio Awning away from the wall clearing downpipes or soil pipes or any other obstruction that may be present.

This installation uses both a custom made S bracket to mount the Patio Awning above the gutter line and also pipe brackets to bring the Awning in line of the gable wall.

Here is a fully cassette Sun Awning installed onto gutter brackets.  This type of bracket is usually referred to as a gutter bracket as its job is to bring the Awning in front of the gutter. Often they can be called S brackets, Z brackets or just wall brackets.

It is often that case that there is not adequate wall space or fixing points to mount a Sun Awning. This is where custom brackets can really help overcome situations that would usually prevent one from having a Sun Awning installed.

This is a 5.35m x 3m full cassette Sun Awning. It is mounted on brackets as firstly there is not sufficient wall space to install the Sun Awning to and secondly, the Awning would be far too low if mounted on the wall and could not clear the outward opening doors.

Being this Awning is so wide a centre support bracket is installed.

Here is a 3.5m  x 3m Electric Sun Awning mounted on wall brackets. Brackets were required to spread the load and also to bring the Sun Awning high enough. This is a compact full cassette Sun Awning and looks very neat and tidy when retracted.

A lot of people would like a Patio Awning but feel that they are unable to due to there being no obvious fixing points for the Awning. As you can see from the installation below the positioning of the awning is over a tile hung wall.  Specialist brackets have been made to allow the fixings for the Awning to be down the wall either side of the window.
