The Sun Awning framework is manufactured from high grade aluminium. These aluminium cassettes are lightweight though extremely strong and durable. The added benefit to having an aluminium Sun Awning is the fact it will not rust, ensuring it looks great for years to come.

The framework of the Awning is powder coated to any desired colour. Often it is nice to have the Sun Awning cassettes in a colour to blend with your property so that when it is not in use, the retracted Sun Awning looks part of the house.

The fabric used on a Nationwide Sun Awning is special in many ways. Firstly the fabric uses the top technology in UV protection so as well as being shaded from the Sun, you are being protected from the sun's damaging UV rays.

Secondly the Awning fabric uses self cleaning technology. Dirt, grime or mold cannot penetrate the threads of the Awning fabric and simple washes off with a light shower of rain. The colours remain vibrant for many years.

The most popular choice for operation is the electric Sun Awning. This is powered by a high quality tubular motor that can be operated either by a remote control or even by sun and wind sensor automation.

Nationwide only manufacture Bespoke Sun Awnings which means you can tailor a solution to specifically meet your needs. Awnings can be manufactured up to a width of 14 metres with a projection of 4 metres using only one piece of fabric. Using the unique Freestanding Sun Awning even larger areas of shade can be achieved.
